Howden Compressors Engineering Open Evening

Howden’s Compressor are hosting and Open Evening on Wednesday 24th April 2019 to share information with young people and parents about their technical based apprenticeships.

They offer two types of engineering apprenticeships, craft which is learning to operate the machinery and help build our compressors. This apprenticeship takes 4 years to achieve with an NC and HNC qualification.

The other type is a technical apprenticeship which for the first year is the same as craft but will lead on to an office role and an engineering degree.

At the open evening there will be a factory tour so everyone can see what is involved, a talk about the apprenticeships and we will have some of our now qualified apprentices to answer questions and talk about what they do. They will also talk about the application process.
